The Aspen Art Museum is hosting “The Ripple Effect,” an exhibition of works by American artist Jay DeFeo (1929–89), on view through October 28, 2018.
“The Ripple Effect” examines fundamental themes that run through the oeuvre of Jay DeFeo’s (1929–89), starting from her use of unconventional materials, the blurring of abstraction and representation, to her devotion to chance and experimentation.
