Marble Distilling Co. (MDC) is an award-winning distillery with the only luxury inn within a distillery, handcrafting artisan spirits from 100 percent Colorado-grown grains. Female founder Connie Baker created a ‘first of its kind’ water and energy recapture system. MDC is the only distiller filtering spirits through crushed, 99.5% calcite Yule marble from a quarry in Marble, Colorado. This same quarry sourced the stone for columns of the Lincoln Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This all-natural, one-of-a-kind filtration system allows the flavor of the 100% Colorado grains to shine through yet affords a smooth, creamy finish. Spiro Lyon Glass (Glass Casting & Blowing) was founded by Jacqueline Spiro-Balderson and Lee Lyon, glass artists who have been working with hot cast glass since 1990. In 1993, Dylan Balderson joined the team with experience in glassblowing and expertise in woodworking. For the past 23 years, Spiro Lyon has been exploring the many aspects of glass for use in design, sculpture, craft, and architecture.
