When there’s a buzz around a cool, new brand or event, especially in the areas of arts, food, libations, wellness, travel and nature, there’s a good chance Lucy ‘Lea’ Tucker is involved. As a senior public relations professional focused on growing, guiding, and managing the perception of emerging brands, she’s first rate when it comes to launching new ideas, creative concepts and products.
Lea’s strengths lie in identifying client and consumer preferences, creating results-driven campaigns, and using insights, media, and relationships to execute effective, timely and creative communications and marketing campaigns. She excels at developing brand strategy, innovative pitches and creating content to support them. Lea also has a unique flair for media relations and executes biannual, high-level media visits and events in Denver, NYC, LA and other national and international markets.
Lea’s client base includes like-minded, forward-thinking, sustainable brands that do things their own way: arts and cultural organizations, food, spirit, health & wellness companies, and women owned and run businesses. She is always careful to align her client list in a way that assures the businesses complement one another and appeal to the media as a whole. In addition, Lea contributes content as a freelance writer to online and print publications.
Prior to launching her own creative firm, Lea earned her chops managing international public relations for the Aspen Skiing Company, where she hosted 100+ members of the international media annually and gained coverage in top tier print, digital, and broadcast outlets. Before joining the Aspen Skiing Company, Lea held event management and public relations roles in Denver, CO. with Strings and the Food Bank of the Rockies. Lea graduated from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in art history.
When she’s not building creative communication campaigns for her clients, Lea can be found playing in the great outdoors: skiing, hiking, camping and en plein air water color painting. She also dabbles as a wildflower identifier, gourmet-backpacking chef, beach-comber, reader and writer. Lea hails from all parts of the country and stays true to the motto “a rolling stone gathers no moss” in her travels around the globe. While at home in the small mountain town of Aspen, she also enjoys time in exotic big cities, European countryside and anywhere with water and sand.
