| MARK OLDMAN at the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen |
Oldman’s seminars – Friday, June 14 & Saturday, June 15 at Paepcke 1 Tent:
Wines for Quadrillionaires 10:00 AM -10:45 AM
Grilling Gods: Perfect Wines for BBQ 3:45 PM-4:30 PM
‘WINE FOR QUADRILLIONAIRES’ FEATURES STAG’S LEAP
CUSTOM-MADE, UNPRECEDENTED 27L BOTTLE (36 BOTTLES IN ONE)
Wine speaker Mark Oldman will debut an unprecedented 27 liter bottle — which is 36 bottles in one — and the largest bottle even opened at the Classic. Called a Primat or Goliath — this Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Cask 23 is considered equal to the very best Bordeaux. Normally priced at $300 for a regular (750 ml) sized bottle — multiply that by 36 for this goliath! Sent from Italy to Napa, then etched and filled — the vessel will be transported to Aspen in a special refrigerated truck exclusively for Oldman’s seminars. Weighing in at a mind boggling 120 pounds — be sure to get a sip and a pic while you can!
Exclusive: the secret theme of the Quadrillionaires seminar is ‘Drink Back the Concorde’ — wine that was served on the glamorous supersonic jet or wine that is “Concorde-worthy” if “The Bird,” as it was called by insiders were still flying today. Along with California’s iconic Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Cask 23, six other rarefied wines that bring a “sonic boom” will be served. If one person were to purchase the seven bottles served in Oldman’s seminars, it would cost more than a round-trip ticket on Concorde (~$12,000 in 2003, the last year of operation.) Each attendee at Mark’s seminar will receive a commemorative Concorde luggage tag based on the British Airways design of the late 1970s.

GHOST POP UP: TAKE HOME TEQUILA AND TASTE
PREMIUM PALOMA IN A CAN – VIP BOTTLE GIFTING
Friday, June 15, Saturday, June 16, Sunday June 17
Proximus Tequila was founded in 2008 by an unlikely duo: analytically-minded Carlos Gonzalez, a physics engineer from Guadalajara, Mexico and Aaron Forman, a Chicago-born sommelier-restauranteur with a superb tasting palate. Proximus is a premium blanco tequila made with 100% blue agave grown in the highlands above Arrandas, Mexico. Ten years later the duo dreamed up the unthinkable: putting Mexico’s most beloved cocktail — the paloma — in a portable, easy-to-serve, stylish can. Proximus ‘Paloma in a Can’ is the only all-natural, sparkling craft paloma on the market. The beverage contains just six all-natural ingredients with a hint of effervescence. An artisanal cocktail with no fuss, no clean up and no high fructose corn syrup, food dyes, or artificial ingredients. www.tequilaproximus.com
